It's not surprising, safety is very important and is part of our life.

     But what is safety Consciousness?

Safety Consciousness may be defined as awareness of hazards and alertness to danger.  Being safety Conscious saves and protects lives of billions of people. 

 Most importantly in order to have safety Consciousness, you must value safety no matter where you are or what time of the day it is. 

Our modern day environment is prone to alot of hazards, it could be chemically, physically and Biologically. This types of hazards has it's potential to cause harm at any time and as such we should be safety conscious at all times , it could be in our homes, at work, while walking, while cooking, while on the road , while cleaning, while travelling etc.... 

Accidents will and can occur at anytime and so we need to be alert to our environments and surroundings ..

   I get to do this all the time..... And you should too......

    Checking and rechecking my gas switch a hundredth times to know if it's properly turn off or not 


Ditching the lazy attitude and drying off moist floor areas


Wearing rubber slippers indoors at all times especially in the kitchen .. this will mostly avoid shocks and slips

Educating your young ones to be safety conscious ... A child won't forget simple safety habits you tell them and it's consequences of neglecting it...


I avoid using candles at home .... You know the reasons


Avoid shortcuts while in a working setting


Avoid liquid foods while using your phones, laptops and computers...

Safety is essential... Infact it's the second clothe I wear and you should wear it too...
